Gulf goes to extremes in Norway

Gulf sponsorship in Norway has always focused on motorbike and bike-related activities and this year is no different.

Gulf has again signed a deal for 2010 with Norwegian off-road bike star, Oystein Kjorstad. The former leading Norwegian motocrosser has now widened the scope of his biking activities to encompass Freestyle and Enduro competition. While nowadays spending most of his work time as a firefighter, Kjorstad proved in 2009 that he is still as competitive as ever. Taking in three national Enduro races, he won two of them and finished in the top five in the other.

For 2010 he has signed up to ride a Gulf-branded KTM through official dealer StarMotor and will be contesting the entire Norwegian Enduro Cup.

Kjorstad is a world championship judge for the International Freestyle Motocross Federation and also manages freestyle snowmobile rider Jostein Stemberg. The Gulf sponsored snowmobile is a very popular attraction at freestyle events all over Europe and is seen here in one of his signature ‘loop the loop's' at an event in Nürnberg, Germany.
