PERU - 'The Raul Deal'

Despite only recently signing up as first-tier Gulf distributors in Peru, Isopetrol have wasted little time in getting their marketing plans up and running. A key element of this is the sponsorship of one of Peru's motorsport stars, Raul Orlandini Jr.

The Orlandini name is one of the most famous in Peruvian motorsport, Raul Orlandini Senior was a five time winner of Peru's famous rally, the "Caminos del Inca".

Despite only being 23, Raul has won local rally and circuit racing events during his short career. In 2006 competing in his Mitsubishi Evo V, he was crowned Peru's National Rally Champion aged only 21. That same year he also won the "6 Horas Peruanas" circuit race.

Since then Raul has maintained his position as one of the top Peruvian racers, competing since 2008 in a Mitsubishi Evo IX (pictured - photo courtesy of Juan Pablo Valdiviezo) and Gulf in Peru will be looking for their newly signed recruit to add further to his tally of successes throughout 2009.
