POLAND - 'Gulf star's in Rally'

GULF RALLY CARS STAR IN POLAND

Gulf's official lubricant distributors in Poland, Oil Trading Poland (OTP), launched their new Rally sponsorship initiative in the last Orange Disc. Since then the Gulf Mitsubishis of Rentier Team Poland have been making quite an impression. Even before their first rally the Gulf liveried machines featured extensively on TVN's "Turbo" progamme, one of Poland's top motoring shows.

The cars' debut came at the Szczecin Rally in front of an estimated 30,000 spectators. As it was a non-championship "club" event, the car ran principally as an extended test but fared well during the race.

Also taking part was a rally team from Koszalin who are OTP customers. Their Renault Clio now also carries prominent Gulf branding and it is pictured here, in the paddock, alongside the Gulf Mitsubishi.
