Aston Martin Racing and Gulf are pleased to announce a series of unique auctions where infamous sporting memorabilia will be auctioned off.

AMR & Gulf Authentic Auction

In the years that marks Gulf's second 40^th anniversary win, 2009 is the 50^th anniversary of Aston Martin Racing's outright win at Le Mans; in 1959 the legendary DBR1 was driven to victory at La Sarthe by Carroll Shelby and Roy Salvadori. In an ambitious attempt to emulate the legendary achievements Aston Martin will endeavour to bring the Le Mans title back to Britain with two Works LMP1 cars bearing the iconic blue and orange livery of Gulf Oil. There couldn't be a better time to purchase a piece of Aston Martin Racing team history.

Bonhams

In 2009 Aston Martin Racing will be placing exclusive memorabilia items in select Bonhams auctions.

The exclusive auction house is one of the few surviving Georgian London auction houses founded in 1793. Today, Bonhams conducts over 700 sales a year, more than any of its rivals worldwide. Bonhams Motoring Department is the largest auction house to hold scheduled auction sales of motor cars, motorcycles and related automobilia. The first UK auction in 2009 will be held at the new Bonhams Oxford facility. On the doorstep of the Cotswolds and with all the in-house facilities you would expect from a fully operational auction house there is no better way to start our 2009 auction year.
