The Gulf brand comes to Canada
Following on from other recent appointments Gulf appoints a new official lubricants distributor for the Canadian market

Gulf Oil International is extremely please to announce that Teklub Distribution Inc. has become the Gulf Official Distributor for Gulf branded lubricants in Canada. Teklub Distribution Inc, based in Montreal, have, since 2002 imported and distributed Motul automotive products with sales in Montréal, Québec, Toronto, and Vancouver. Now wishing to find new opportunities through higher sales volume and enter new segments they will endeavour to achieve their strategy instead with the Gulf brand. The Gulf brand, although absent from the Canadian market for many years, is very well known and Teklub Distribution Inc will take advantage of this and market Gulf lubricants via a wide network of distributors. They are also very interested and experienced in the automotive racing sector so Gulf's famous presence in motor racing fit's in extremely well with their marketing plans. Jean-Marc Alcaraz, Directeur Général and Alain Faleix, Directeur Commercial will spearhead the re-launch of the Gulf brand in Canada and held a very succesful launch event on the 26th June. The event was held in the backdrop of the Grand Prix of Mirabel for the Candian Touring Car Championship.
