Gulf Lubricants Plant Opens in Colombia

Prolub SA, the Gulf licensee in Colombia, has recently inaugurated its new lubricants blending plant, with TV and Press coverage.

On the 16th October a significant step forward was taken by Prolub SA, who now manufacture and market a large range of Gulf lubricants in the S American country of Colombia.

This investment will have far-reaching consequences for the development of the business and, most importantly, for the current and future customers and end-users of Gulf products. Prolub entered the lubricants market with the Gulf brand in 2005. The business is supported by two important shareholder partners, Lubrisa SA (the Gulf lubricant company in neighbouring Ecuador) and Equitel-Cumandes SA, who have a variety of business ventures in Colombia, including a leading position as the largest agency for Cummins engines.
