The Gulf x Williams Fan Livery Vote - A Multi Award Winning Campaign

Gulf Oil International Ltd are delighted to announce that the Gulf x Williams Fan Livery Vote is now a multi-award-winning campaign.
Recognised in December 2023 at the prestigious Autosport Awards, Gulf x Williams Racing were crowned winners of the inaugural Brand Partnership of the Year Award, at the 36th edition of the ceremony.
The judging criteria of the Brand Partnership of the Year Award aimed to recognise a brand that made highly effective use of a motorsport platform to convey its brand message and to add value to the team, driver, or series it partnered with. The expert panel noted that the winning entry showed high levels of creativity, scope, and execution.
Following this triumph, on 25th January 2024, Gulf won Brand of the Year at The Race Media Awards. The ceremony celebrates the achievements of media and marketing across all categories of two and four-wheel motorsports.
The Brand of the Year award recognises brands that have implemented the best marketing campaigns within motorsport, influencing the sentiment and actions of fans. The voting panel highlighted the fan engagement element which formed the foundations of the Gulf x Williams campaign, giving fans the power to vote for the livery that adorned the FW45 during the Singapore, Japan, and Qatar 2023 Grands Prix.
The Gulf x Williams Fan Livery Vote opened in May 2023 spanning across three rounds with ‘Bolder than Bold’ emerging victorious after 180,000 fan votes were cast worldwide. The iconic Gulf orange and blue colours embodied the collaborative design of Gulf and Williams, honouring their rich legacies in motorsport and sharing a resolute belief in being bold on and off the track.
Fans across the globe participated in the livery vote, placing them at the core of this campaign and offering them the opportunity to shape history by selecting their favourite livery design, which resulted in a historic moment on track for both Gulf and Williams Racing.
